1. Jump - dog jumps over human’s body part
  2. Under - travel under or pose under human

  4. Load – dog stands, sits or downs on human while human performs an exercise
  5. Traveling while Loaded – dog travels on the human’s back and torso while human performs a moving exercise

Jump

The spotter helps train the jumping behavior by luring or cuing the dog

Under

Under is generally easy to train. The human moves into an exercise position and the spotter lures and eventually cues the dog to take position. As with all training avoid naming the behaviors until the dog is consistently offering the behavior.

Perch

Perch training is usually easily lured. Start with pieces of food sprinkled on the human’s torso. Also teaching perch with an object such as stairs, or an ottoman can be a great start.

Load

Load training goes faster for small dogs. Medium or large dogs may need to foundation train walking backwards on cue, cavaletti or ladder games and in same cases learning to stick all four feet into a box or bowl your instructor can help you with these foundation games.

Traveling

Traveling is both physically demanding to dog and human. Watch for our video-- coming soon.
